About me

My name is Carlos Salvador Carbone Lorio and I was born in Panama on September 21, 1990. I have an Italian citizenship and I am currently living in Munich, Germany. I speak Spanish, English, Italian and German.

I have a Bachelor degree in Electromechanical Engineering, a Master Degree of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and I finished my PhD of Engineering in Computer Science in La Sapienza Università di Roma. My academic research topic is mainly Aerial Swarm Robotics for precision agriculture. In industrial research I am mainly focusing on Domain Randomization with foundational models for Embodied AI simulations

My current hobbies are playing video games and playing heavy metal music. I took a big break from playing music while finishing my academic degrees, now I have come back to it and I am trying to build more skills to produce my music and play live.

I have taken multiple online Udemy courses to develop digital marketing skills, which I used for my entrepreneur projects

Video games

I am developing skills in Unreal Engine 5 for video game development and in Unity for research development

I love PC high speed action games, so I have tried to develop some demo games of that type

Heavy metal

I play guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and sing but my main instrument is the electric guitar. I own multiple guitars for playing all sorts of heavy metal along with my neural dsp quad cortex

I speak English, Spanish, Italian, German and some Russian
